A unique house was built yesterday by applying 3D-pritned materials in France!

Mar 28, 2018

This became possible due to the unique construction additive system BatiPrint3D. In contrast to the usual building 3D-printers, this device prints not with cement mixes, but with mounting foam.

The French team completed the construction of unique residential building. The walls of the house are built on an unusual technology developed by engineers of the University of Nantes – by using a 3D printer that prints the mounting foam.

The construction of this building was demonstrated the possibilities of unique building additive system BatiPrint3D, developed by students and professors of Nantes University.

In contrast to the usual building 3D-printers, this device prints not with cement mixes, but with mounting foam. In other words, not a permanent shuttering is printed, but a heater, then poured with concrete until a monolithic construction is obtained. Positioning of the extruder is carried out by an industrial robot manipulator.

The latest achievements of additive technologies and 3D printing are waiting for you at the exhibition ROSMOULD 2018. Free ticket is available at our website: https://online.messefrankfurt.ru/eng/?EXHIBITION_ID=271300
