The latest 3D printed sneakers by Adidas are finally on sale. Continuing to improve the line of "sports shoes of the future", the company released Futurecraft 4D sneakers with soles printed on 3D printers.
Adidas was one of the first brands to embrace the idea of additive shoe manufacturing and achieved the most significant successes.
In the production of the new shoe model, high-speed photopolymer 3D printers from Carbon using CLIP technology are involved. This technology provides high-speed printing and isotropic products due to continuous illumination, which is possible due to the oxygen-rich “dead” layer between the aligned models and the bottom of the cuvette.
The cost of one pair is $ 300. Due to high demand and still limited supply, sales are carried out on preliminary requests.
