During January – August 2019, the production of film products increased by 8.5% compared to the same period in 2018 and amounted to 718.9 thousand tons.
Last month, the production of non-porous polymer plates, sheets and films increased to 33.1 thousand tons against 32.4 thousand tons in July. Thus, over the period under review, the output of these products reached the level of 250.7 thousand tons, which is 11.2% more than a year earlier.
In August, the production of slabs, sheets and films of porous polymer amounted to 25.7 thousand tons against 25.1 thousand tons a month earlier. Over eight months, the total output of these products reached the level of 174.8 thousand tons against 195.5 thousand tons a year earlier.
The August production of plastic bottles and bottles fell to 1.643 million units compared to 2.536 million units a month earlier. In January - August of this year, the total production of these plastic products amounted to 14.064 million units. against 14.101 million units a year earlier.
Last month, the production of plastic pipes, hoses and fittings amounted to 64.1 thousand tons against 63.9 thousand tons in July. For eight months of 2019, the total release of these products amounted to 396.8 thousand tons, which is 3.1% more than last year.
The August production of bags made of ethylene polymers reached the level of 2.3 billion units against 2.4 billion units a month earlier. During the period under review, the total volume of production of these plastic products amounted to 16.643 billion pcs. against 17.808 billion pcs. a year earlier.
Last month, the production of linoleum and floor coverings amounted to 14.88 million square meters compared to 15.47 million square meters in July. In January - August, the total volume of production of these products amounted to 98 million square meters against 88.6 million square meters a year ago.
